Low-key gospel musician Gift Mahlupeka, who grabbed headlines for cheating with his best friend Mathias Mhere's wife, Susan Dzinamarira, is now in deeper trouble.
Mahlupeka is on the police wanted list as he faces allegations of raping a young girl whose case was reported in November last year.
The case was reported at Norton Police Station under case number 142/9/14.
Police sources confirmed that the case was reported and investigations are still underway while Mahlupeka is on the run. The deflowered girl did not report the matter to her parents. However, the issue came to light when the victim attempted to commit suicide at school after failing to come to terms with the fact that Mahlupeka had raped her and had broken her virginity in the process.
Reports are that one of her teachers bumped into her while she was holding different types of pills with a bottle of water. She had a diary with her which was written: "Gift I regret the day I met you," it is alleged.
Her teacher then informed the girl's parents who then approached the police and reported the rape ordeal after the young girl opened up.
Notorious Gift Mahlupeka also broke Mathias Mhere's heart after he cheated with Mhere's wife. He would see his friend's wife behind his back and would send dirty messages to Susan Dzinamarira telling her that his anaconda is extremely charged. In Susan's case, he however can not be blamed much since it was Mathias Mhere's wife who begged for sex from Gift.
