Leslie Jones’ scathing Twitter troll, Milo Yiannopoulos, is showing no remorse over his attack on the “Ghostbusters’ star earlier this summer.
Yiannopoulos, a well-known Internet troll and an editor at Breitbart, sat down with “Nightline” recently where he shed light on his controversial actions. “Trolling is very important,” he admitted “I like to think of myself as a virtuous troll, you know? I’m doing God’s work.”
“This idea that celebrities are these fragile wallflowers. Give me a break,” he continued. “That the stars of Hollywood blockbusters are sitting at home crying into their iPhones.”
Yiannopoulos’ Twitter attacks on Jones were so vicious that the actress was forced to leave the social network. “It’s just too much. It shouldn’t be like this. So hurt right now,” she told her fans.

“This idea now that you can tell women that they’ll be healthy at any size…It tells women that you can be fat and you can be unattractive and you’ll be happy anyway,” he said. “That’s a lie.”
“I would rather a healthier, equitable arrangement that existed between the sexes rather than the sort of vindictive feminism that seems to exist now,” Yiannopoulos added. “And by the way, most people agree with me. Fewer than one in five women in America describe themselves as a feminist, because they see what I see.”
After receiving a wave of support through the #LoveForLeslie campaign, Jones is now back on Twitter.
Yiannopoulos, however, has had his account permanently suspended for violating the network’s rules and regulations.
