A 78 YEAR old Harare man William Vambe dragged his lover Rosemary Maiya (62) to court accusing her of vanishing with his property. Vambe was at a funeral and the value of the property is estimated at $1 794 50.
In court, Maiya denied the accusation but stunned the court saying they had several sexual encounters and Vambe is bitter that they could not produce any children.
"I did not take any of his property. This man was my lover and he was expecting some children out of the relationship.
"He is doing this since we failed to sire children as he was expecting" she said.
That alone was enough for magistrate Victoria Mashamba to clear her of any wrong doing.
