A young mother suffering from serious depression has been arrested for cutting off the head of her three months old daughter.
A 20-year-old Ohio, USA, woman, Deasia Watkins, has been arrested for allegedly beheading her three-month-old baby daughter, in what the police call homicidal violence.
The headless body of the infant was discovered by a family member and the police was called in.
The family say the young mother suffered from post-partum depression and was given to moments of violence.
Latest.com reports that the police has charged Watkins with aggravated murder for murdering her baby who was named Janiyah.
The police also report that the infant’s head had been severed from the body and an autopsy revealed that the infant was also stabbed in the face and had a broken right arm.
