A swedish politician in under fire after he uploaded a picture of his genitals to a social media website. The politician however, defended himself saying that the Instagram photo showing his exposed private parts should have only shown his new tattoo.
Lars Ohly, 56, the former chairman of Sweden’s Left Party, has uploaded the photo to his Instagram account Wednesday to show the calf tattoo he got in order to show his support for the Liverpool soccer club, but he deleted the image when he became aware that his naked genitals were visible in the shot.
“Summer is wonderful. The image is hot topic today. Completely by accident, however. The future will see a more careful uploading review process,” Ohly posted to his Twitter account.
“Oh, how many new followers I have on Instagram today and how disappointed they will soon be,” he also wrote. Ohly, whose photographic gaffe made headlines in Sweden, said the best reaction was a text message from the former Social Democrat leader Hakan Juholt.
“I had planned to grill sausages tonight, but now it will be chicken” Juholt wrote.
