In what he titles “renewing our commitment to freedoms”, human rights activists, Barrister Felix Nkongho Agbor Balla, one of the forefront leaders of the Anglophone protests, said he is deeply saddened by the attack on his father’s house in the village on Sunday October 29.

Barrister Ballla in a 4 page letter equally asks for forgiveness and tolerance from the people, stating that he has learnt from his transgressions.

It should be recalled that Balla’s recent position on school resumption over the BBC had provoked outrage among diehard secessionists who believe boycotting schools is the only way to gain their separatist agenda.
