Zlatan Ibrahimovic After Everton Draw ... I'll Leave Man United If They Don't Do This

Zlatan Ibrahimovic came to Manchester United's rescue last night - then warned he will not stay at Old Trafford if they do not match his ambition. Zlatan Ibrahimovic marked his return from a three-game ban to convert an added time penalty to cancel out Phil Jagileka's first half goal and salvage a point against Everton.

It stretched Manchester United's unbeaten Premier League run to 20 games but 10 of them have been draws and Ibrahimovic hinted he is looking for Jose Mourinho to match his ambition and make big improvements in a bid before he triggers the second year option in the one-season contract he signed last summer.

The Swede, 35, said: "I came to do what I am able to do. To make it better. To bring the team to higher views so let's see what happens. I'm 35. A lot of things have to be settled. It's not like I'm 20 and I have another five or 10 years.

"Probably I have one, two, three years so everything depends on what you want and what the club wants, what the vision of the club is because I said from day one I didn't come here to waste time, I came here to win. If you want to win bigger then you have to create bigger."

United have been linked with a summer move for Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann but Ibrahimovic insists he is in no hurry to sign up preferring to wait to see whether their transfer plans materialise.

He added: "Listen, if I had something to say I would already have said it. We are talking. Whether we were far from each other or close to each other, there is no news.

"There are still talks and let's see what will happen. I am open. Nothing is done yet. I came here without the Champions League. I came here with the team as it was. It was not a team that was favourite to win. I still came. I came to help."

Ibrahimovic's penalty followed a deliberate handball by Ashley Williams who blocked a Luke Shaw shot and was sent off.
