Kim Kardashian insists in a new interview that she never slammed Taylor Swift amid her and Kanye West’s feud with the singer. She further notes she’s a fan of Swift and “no shade” was ever intended.
As Gossip Cop reported earlier this year, West included a lyric about having sex with Swift in his song “Famous,” in which he also refers to the pop star as “that bitch.” Swift took issue with the line and claimed she never approved the song, but Kardashian later released a Snapchat video showing her husband discussing the track with Swift over the phone. The “bitch” lyric, however, was seemingly never mentioned during their discussion.

As we also noted, Kardashian addressed her issues with Swift in a GQ cover story this past June, saying the singer “totally approved” the lyrics beforehand, and was denying it “just to play the victim again.”
Despite Kardashian seemingly calling out Swift as a liar, she tells Wonderland magazine in a new cover story that she never bashed the singer. “I never publicly talk bad about people,” says the reality star. “I still don’t feel like I have. I’m being honest. I’m a fan. I like her music. There was no shade.” However, some of Swift’s friends apparently interpreted Kardashian’s remarks as “shade.” Kardashian reveals in the new interview, “Girls in her squad hit me up on text.” But she wouldn’t mention who in Swift’s posse confronted her, noting, “I’m not petty.” Kardashian’s cover of Wonderland hits newsstands the first week of October.
