Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) is “second Jesus Christ”, Ghanaian boxer Ayitey Powers has said.

The boxer, recounting his suffering until he was delivered of demonic possessions by the Nigerian prophet, told DJ Premier on Entertainment Capital on Accra100.5FM that he has gained faith in God after his deliverance.

“I was not delivered by Project TB Joshua, but the God of Prophet TB Joshua. I have been a British-based Ghanaian boxer for a long time. I was in my room one day in London in the year 2007 and without any reason, took my passport. I am an illiterate, I don’t know how to use the computer to do my bookings and to check flights online, but that day, I got possessed, went to sit behind the computer and did my own booking and all the necessary flight arrangements online”.

“The authorities told me I would pay a penalty of 50 pounds for my ticket. I had almost 7,000 pounds in my accounts in London, but I had 70 pounds in my pocket. I went to Heathrow airport with the 70 pounds, paid the penalty of 50 pounds and boarded the flight to Ghana with only 20 pounds in my pocket. I got to Kotoka International Airport without realising I had arrived in Ghana. I only realised I was in Ghana after I had met my friends for lunch. It was when I tasted the food that I came to my senses and realised I was back home in Ghana and began asking myself and my friends how I got to Ghana. So, if someone tells you there is nothing in this world, tell the person I said he is lying. ...Because of this, I know there is a living God”, Powers narrated.

Recounting why he went to SCOAN, Powers said: “When I came from London, things became bad. I had to beg before I could eat from 2007 to 2012. I became most useless during Christmas because I couldn’t even afford to buy foodstuffs for my in-laws. I went to a lot of churches in Ghana, but had no solution to my problems, none could help me… so, there are some pastors in Ghana that God will have to kill…Prophet TB Joshua is second Jesus Christ. If anyone says prophet TB Joshua is not a true prophet but uses juju, I want to say there is no juju that can do what prophet TB Joshua is doing”.

Powers disclosed that since he was delivered of demonic possessions at SCOAN in 2014, anytime he had the feeling to do something, he got 100 per cent positive results and that had increased his faith in God.
