A WATERFALLS man appealed for the dismissal of a maintenance application by his wife claiming that she brings her boyfriends into their matrimonial home when he is away.

In his submissions, Nathan Makamure also told the court that his wife Cynthia Mharadze is in the habit of chasing away his relatives from their homestead.

“Your Worship, she brings her boyfriends into our matrimonial home when I am away.

“She chases away my relatives from my homestead in Waterfalls and she also comes to my workplace to harass me and all these matters were reported to the police.

‘’She is abusing the court process by applying for a new court decision since the court was held on March 8 this year and her application was dismissed,” he said.

Presiding magistrate Manassa Musiiwa said according to the court record, the matter was brought before the same court on March 8 and Mharadze’s application was dismissed.

“According to the record that I have this application was dismissed on March 8 this year and the respondent did not fail to maintain the two minor children.

“I advise you that you take this matter to a superior court if there are any variations because this court has already made its ruling,” he said.

Mharadze who was legally represented dragged her husband to Harare Civil Magistrates’ Court claiming$200 maintenance for two minor children.

“He earns $500 and I can provide the invoices for the school fees,” she said.
