Zimbabwe’s charismatic celebrity gospel preacher Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa has made shocking headlines with yet another jaw dropping prophecy that prevented an unfortunate British Airways London Airport accident turning into an international aviation disaster.
On the 26 of February earlier this year, Prophet Makandiwa issued a prophecy, saying he had see British Airways in one of his visions. He mentioned that he had seen the British Airways plane grounded in a very rare development.On the 9th of April 2016, the preacher again was recorded explaining that he had seen smoke coming out of Heathrow Airport in London, UK and encouraged his servants to cover British Airways in their prayers so as to prevent loss of life.

Speaking to our correspondent, religious analyst, Ken Maridadi, said the British Airways prophecy is probably the most significant proof that Prophet Makandiwa is a genuine prophet.
“You see, God gave him a prophecy. And after prayers there was no loss of life. But God still allowed the incident to happen so that he can confirm the word of his prophecy.
If the event had not happened at all, people would have said Makandiwa is a liar. If it had happened, and people died, then people would have said the prophecy as useless – like they say about Mapostori who say – i saw this person die but could not save him at all.
In this case, God confirmed his word as given to his servant, and also confirmed that those who pray on the instruction of his servant would be saved”
Christian philosopher, John Chimbinha added that, this prophecy was extremely different from the cliche prophecies in that it was comprehensive and detailed.
“A lot of people criticise these famous prophets because they usually give vague prophecies about disasters which can mean anything. We know the law of truly large numbers says given a large enough sample, any event is likely to happen.
But this one was different, he gave a location, he described the event, he even said if we pray there will be no loss of life. It is really hard to see how we can still have doubting Thomases here”
This is not the first time Emmanuel Makandiwa has made huge headlines. Earlier this year several News agencies reported about how the preacher had given South Africa’s deputy President, Cyril Ramaphosa a prophetic word of life discouraging him from using his aircraft and also encouraging him to look for hidden faults in his plane.
The aircraft of the Deputy President was later grounded, and upon investigation several faults were found.
