ZESA has advised citizens to plan ahead to avoid having a dark weekend as the prepaid meter system will be down from the 7th to 9th of April.
This system shutdown will allow them to carry out a system upgrade.
Of late the system has been plagued by constant crashing to outright refusing to work leaving many households in the dark.
