The weekend that started this Saturday, December 24, 2016, will be longer. This is because of the celebration of the Nativity celebrated every December 25 by the Christian community.


This year, Christmas falls on Sunday. And to allow the many Catholic and Protestant faithful to recover after this annual celebration, the President of the Republic signed yesterday Friday December 23rd, an order that declares the day of Monday, December 26, 2016 a public holiday and non-working throughout the national territory.
