Barely eight months after the death of Andy Brown’s daughter Chiedza who committed suicide in America, tragedy has again hit the family following the death of Shahla.

The legendary guitarist and vocalist’s daughter died on June 3.

She was 24.

Details about her death are still sketchy, so are the burial arrangements.

Her partner, Carlos Max, a former Warriors and CAPS United defender, confirmed the sad news on social media.

“I’d rather have bad times with you than good times with someone else. . . I’d rather be beside you in a storm than be safe and warm by myself,” posted Max on Facebook.

Andy Brown’s sister, Queen Mash, expressed her shock on Facebook following the death of Shahla.

“Every time I come to Zimbabwe, you would come to my house…we used to talk, laugh and do so many things together. You were so free with me! You used to ask me so many questions and you would say ‘you’re my tete….who else do you want me to ask these things?’ I will miss you Shahla Soraya Brown, rest in peace my sweetheart.”

Vanessa Chiyangwa, who worked with the deceased, said: “This woman was incredible… She was powerful. When I started Peep she was one of the ladies who helped build my brand and has now departed from us.

“When I heard the news and still now — am in shock! She was such an incredible loving person. . . Words can’t describe the loss I’m feeling, RIP Shahla Soraya Brown, you’ll be missed immensely,” she said.
