What is happening to Prophets with this insatiable desire for raping? Is it a new requirement for qualification as a prophet? Reports coming through from Harare are that, A Greater Life Ministries Prophet was last week arrested over allegations that he raped one of his followers, a 19 year old, in Beatrice.  Prophet Takudzwa Gadzikwa, 33, also known in his church circles as Try Immanuel, is currently under  arrest and is facing rape allegations.

Mashonaland East police spokesperson Inspector Nobert Muzondo confirmed the report. “Takudzwa was arrested yesterday at Machipisa Police Station, however he is being held at Beatrice Police Station since it is the scene of the crime,” he said.
The strange part is he raped her in Beatrice, which is where he hoped to host a church crusade;’ according to the allegations.
Takudzwa could not be reached for comment.

However, it is said he denied the allegations saying they had consensual s-ex with her. It is alleged that on July 15, Takudzwa forced the victim to have s-exual intercourse with him in the car. “On July 16, Prophet Try asked the victim to escort him to Beatrice. “Since he claimed to be the girl’s spiritual father, she did not hesitate to accompany him.

“The strange part is he raped her in Beatrice, which is where he hoped to host a church crusade;’ according to the allegations.

The victim confirmed the incident saying on the day in question, Takudzwa raped her. “I’m hurt because the person whom I looked up to destroyed my life.
“On the day in question, he came to our house asking me to escort him to Beatrice.

“When we arrived in Beatrice, he forced me to have unprotected s-ex with him. •

“The pain that I am feeling is unimaginable; I pray he rots in jail,” said the victim.

Meanwhile, Inspector Muzondo urged women to avoid getting free rides from men. “Everyone is a potential abuser; women must not trust men to avoid such incidents,” he said
