Women who violate the ban could could face up to 5 years in jail. Thailand has banned underboob selfies, saying they violate the country's 2007 Computer Crimes Act, Stuff reports.
The act specifically bans any "obscene computer data which is accessible to the public" and the government said the underside of a woman's breast falls into that category.
The country has seen a surge in popularity in the underboob selfie, with women taking them at the beach and pages dedicated to the underboob selfie cropping up. But now, women caught taking them could face up to 5 years in jail.
