Urban grooves star musician Rockford “Roki” Josphats is being sued by his ex-girlfriend who is claiming $462 for the upkeep of their six-year-old daughter. Acquamarine Ginnet Wallace is also claiming $250 as her share.
According to her application filed at the Harare Civil Court, Wallace claimed the musician was neglecting her and the child.
“I was in a relationship with Rockford and we lived together at a flat in town for some time and I fell pregnant,” reads part of Wallace’s application.
Wallace said when she fell pregnant she went back to her parents home and has not dated any other man since.
“While I was pregnant he never provided anything or gave me any support,” said Wallace.
She claimed Roki is a musician who earns approximately $2 000 per month and was in a position to pay $712 every month.
“From the $712, $180 is for rentals, $20 for telephone (bill),$50 for food, $70 for maid, $30 for bus fare, $80 for medical aid, $170 for crèche fees, $50 for clothes and uniforms, $10 for chemist (medicine) and $50 for holidays,” reads Wallace’s application.
The matter is expected to be in court on March 17.
The urban grooves star was earlier this year dragged to the maintenance court by his ex-wife, Pauline Gundidza, who was claiming $800 for the upkeep of their two chil- dren.
Roki has sired more than five children with different women that include Pauline, Amanda, Melody and Juliana. Herald
