CAPE TOWN – A family member of a slain 10-year-old girl says it’s best the men accused of killing her remain behind bars.
Three of Chelsea Godlo’s relatives have been charged with her murder and rape.
Godlo’s body was found under her grandfather’s bed in Gugulethu earlier this week.
Her mother, Noreen Godlo made the gruesome discovery.
She said she still can’t believe family members have been implicated in her daughter’s murder.
The accused appeared in court today and will not be applying for bail.
Family member Hubert Peters says it’s best the suspects remain behind bars, away from the local community.
