HARARE - Marriages require a lot of stamina to be maintained. Even the most stable ones can be ruined in an instant by minor things.
Cheating maybe one way that can end a marriage, with men being the most culprits under these conditions. Divorce cases are mounting in Zimbabwe and many involve couples who have been married for a short period.
A Zimbabwe lady provides adequate lessons on how to destroy a marriage, instantly. The Chinhoyi woman, Humunyari Dinhidza is now officially single after she sought to revenge her cheating husband by inviting her former lover to the matrimonial home in the absence of the hubby. The two, it is alleged enjoyed a quality time while Humunyari's mother was sleeping in the next room.
However, the 62 year old mother denies the charge.
"Freddy accused me of allowing Humunyari to accommodate Victor here but to be honest I never saw him at this place," said the mother.
According to information provided, Freddy Dinhidza, who frequents to Kuwait on business was married to Humunyari but was also having an illicit affair with his girlfriend, Thembi Moyo. Freddy is accused to have spent a fortune on his girlfriend whilst his family lived a destitute life after failing to pay school fees for his two children. He is also known to have a habit of selling family property to sustain his girlfriend.
After gathering the damning information, Freddy approached the police for a reprieve who advised him to go to the courts.
"I discovered love messages between her and Victor and I confronted her about it and she begged for forgiveness and sent a message to Victor informing him to end the relationship. What irked me is that the brother Nathan and Josphat together with her mother are supporting the affair taking advantage of my staying at their house," revealed a livid Freddy.
The husband justified his extra marital endeavors saying he was denied conjugal rights by his estranged wife.
"Humunyari took advantage of my trips to Kuwait and decided to accommodate Victor in my matrimonial bedroom while denying me my conjugal rights. Because I was sex starved I decided to look for a girlfriend and in anger I told Humunyari that I am now prepared to marry her," mentioned Freddy.
In defense, the wife said, "My old mistakes are no worse than his just because I am a woman; I persevered as he failed to support the family. He is exposing old wounds because he does not want me to be employed and everything started after I failed to give him money to but sandals."
The counter accusation continues with the disgraced wife adding that, "... he even sells household property that is why I decided to let him go without anything. As we speak he has not paid for our children and comes home late spending money with hookers and his girlfriend. I am no longer staying with him and I do not intend to go back to him to avoid exposing my life to HIV and AIDS," said the wife in disregard of her vulnerability considering she was involved in a love circle of more than five people.
Feeling guilty of her actions, the wife sent messages to his lover.
"Victor it is over and you should apologize to him. I confess everything. You can contact me on my number tomorrow. We humiliated family... I shall ever live regretting."
Confirming the illicit affair, Humunyari blame his former husband for having endless affairs.
"Freddy is becoming hot about the issue forgetting that he spent a thousand dollars with Thembi but now he is talking issues about Victor which is water under the bridge. My old mistakes are no worse than his just because I am a woman; I persevered as he failed to support the family. He is exposing old wounds because he does not want me to be employed and everything started when I failed to give money to buy sandals."
Meanwhile, Thembi is happy that the relationship between the two has broken down and she can’t wait to be married to Freddy.
"Freddy is now my boyfriend and I am aware that he was married to Humunyari before she started cheating on him. By the grace of God I look forward to a happy marriage with Freddy," said the ecstatic girlfriend. - Gossip Panda.
