HOUGHTON Park woman has been sent packing after her photographs were published last week on our social scene page. Her performance at an Alick Macheso show came out in last Friday's H-Metro and the images did not go down well with her husband and his relatives. She was ordered out of the matrimonial home
despite her pleas for mercy. Sandra Muvirimi, 25, blames downing wise `waters' for the first time at a family party in Derbyshire, Waterfalls before she decided to show her dancing skills at a Macheso show held some time ago at Extra Mile Leisure Spot. Sandra is now staying with her aunt in Sunningdale while her sister, only identified as Chelsea, is reported to have taken custody of Sandra's four-year-old child until the issue settles down. "I am no longer with my husband Masimba after the photographs were published in H-Metro and I have since decided to use the front page graphic as my WhatsApp profile picture since it affected my marriage," said Sandra.
"My husband was not aware that I went to Macheso show only to be called by relatives and friends after the story was published. It hurt me. "One of my sisters called me names and she took the kid away from me saying (the child) would not take good lessons from me but I am not a whore. "On the day in question I was coming from a family party accompanied by my mother and brothers and we decided to pass through our late grandmother's place near Extra Mile Lei-sure Spot. "I was drunk and we agreed as family to attend the Macheso show. It was my first time to take alcohol. "But besides being drunk, I am a good dancer so Macheso spotted me dancing and he called me to the stage and 1 started show-ing my dancing skills. One of the revelers joined me." She revealed that there were issues in her marriage and she had been warned.
The pictures in last Friday's H-Metro was thus the final straw. "Since I had had some previous warnings from my husband, he took advantage of the published pictures and he -together with his relatives - forced me to pack my bags. I apologized but no one stood by me.
"I love my husband. I love my child but alcohol led me to this mess and I regret taking it and I do not think I will repeat it," said Sandra. Sandra said her mother warned her after she was called to the stage but she ignored her pleas and went ahead to dance unaware that H-Metro photographer, Takawira "Photo Vet" Dapi was covering the show and the pictures would eventually be published. Norah, who claimed to be Sandra's mother, confirmed the separation.
She also confirmed being with Sandra on the day in question. "1 was with Sandra and she is not of loose morals as what people want to believe. "She took alcohol for the first time since we had a family party and she failed to control herself "Her marriage is now in shambles and I do not see her husband taking her any longer zvekuti ndakutotarisira rnukuwasha mutsva, said Norah.
