A Bouncer at centurion Sports Club has been brought to court on allegations of fondling the behind of a female patron at the club.
Ashton Mutyoro of Highfield appeared before Harare magistrate Takunda Mtetwa where he denied the allegations of indecent assault.
Ashton told the court that he had not touched the woman’s behind adding that even the CCTV footage will reveal a shadow hence it was out of malice for him to be accused as that erson could be anyone else.
The woman, aged 31, whose name has been with held to protect her identity, however testified that she had been touched by Ashton.
She revealed that she was in the company of her brothers at a birthday bash at the Centurion around 1:30am and when she was leaving the cub, Ashton fondled her bum.
The woman testified that though there were other people when Ashton touched her, she looked behind and managed to spot him in the lewd act.
The woman also testified that a waitress also confirmed that it was Ashton who was ‘tempted to touch’.
Asked how she felt when she was being touched by Ashton, the woman used the word “humiliated”, among other words.
The case continues next Tuesday.
