A man was arrested after he raped his daughter as punishment, police in Zimbabwe said.
The 34-year-old of Chitungwiza, reportedly conducted a virginity test on his 14-year-old daughter after suspecting that she was having sex with her boyfriend.
The man, who is separated from his wife, arrived home around 7:00 p.m., and saw the 15-year-old boy on his property. He called his daughter inside the house.
When the teen entered the house, he asked her about her relationship with the boy. The 14 year old explained that the boy was her friend and the two hang out together.
The man waited for the daughter to finish eating dinner and ordered her to prepare the bed. Once she was in her room the father entered, closed the door and sat on the girl’s bed.
He began accusing the teenager of having sex with her boyfriend. The man suggested that he will conduct a virginity test, but she refused.
He then forcefully undressed the teen and inserted his finger in her private parts. The father allegedly turned off the lights, turned up the volume of the radio and raped her. The daughter screamed, but nobody heard her.
After the act, they both went to sleep. Before the girl went to school the next morning she packed her clothes, went to her mother’s house and told her about the abuse.
The matter was reported to the police, leading to the father’s arrest. He was charged with aggravated indecent assault and rape. The father was remanded into custody and no bail was set. Crazy News24.com
