United Family International Church founder, Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa has implored Zimbabweans to refrain from violence or any retrogressive acts that may reverse the gains and progress the country has made ZBC News reports.
The UFIC leader said Zimbabwe is the envy of many countries including some western countries due to its unique culture as well as peace and stability.
He warned Zimbabweans to be wary of some external forces that are bent on destroying the country’s economy in an attempt to discredit the leadership of the nation while at the same time pushing the country to adopt some cultural practices that go against national values and beliefs.
He said Zimbabweans should not embark on the path of self destruction in the face of foreign manufactured economic challenges, but put their trust in God.
Some African countries have been forced to embrace homosexuality which is regarded as taboo on the continent in return for financial support while those that resist the practice are financially suffocated.
Turning to issues of governance, Prophet Makandiwa stressed the need for the nation to give honour to those in authority as taught in the Bible.
“Those who are given swords are allowed to use them to protect,” said Makandiwa.
The UFIC leader said his message was inspired by a vision that he saw some three months ago.
“I saw a vision where some farmers went out to sow seed, at a time when the owner of the field was protesting that time was not ripe to plant. I also saw bees attacking the farmers who were defying the word of God and rivers of blood and stains blighting the nation,” he said.
