Talented but troubled Zimdancehall artist Soul Jah Love has opened up on his drug abuse problem saying that drugs had ruined his past.
The chanter admitted that he had indulged on almost every drug he could lay his hands on but blamed cocaine for ruining his marriage to Bounty Lisa.
He claimed that he had since stopped taking all illegal drugs except for Mbanje which he hopes will be legalised. In an interview with H-Metro, Soul Jah Love said,

The feeling you get after taking cocaine is unexplainable, those who take it know better. I kept on taking it, and it changed me to a person I didn’t want to be. I lost my wife Bounty Lisa and I want to say I’m really sorry.

That’s why I say it’s a satanic drug, and today that’s why urge the youth to stay away from bronco, mutoriro and the likes.
