More than 70 world leaders will gather yesterday November 11th 2018 to celebrate the end of the First World War in the French capital Paris.
About 60 world leaders will join French President Emmanuel Macron in inaugurating the first edition of the Paris Peace Forum, a few hours after commemorating the centenary of the armistice that ended World War I
Despite receiving official invitation from the French president, President Biya will not be attending the event which is being hosted by one of the closest ally of the country, France.
According to sources from the presidency of the republic, the head of state Paul Biya is preoccupied with domestic affairs barely a week after he was inaugurated and given another 7 years mandate at the helm of the state.
The head of state has been criticized for his heavy handedness on the armed militia and has been under pressure from home and abroad to initiate real and genuine dialogue to resolve the crisis.
According to the post newspaper, the lecturers have given the President of the fresh ultimatum to resolve the Anglophone crisis urgently or they risk going on strike too in a move which might cause massive headache for the state and put it under more prersure
