An Apostolic Faith Mission pastor stationed at Pinnacle Assembly in Kuwadzana Phase 3, Joseph Ponda who was caught pants down in the act with an unidentified member of his assembly was yesterday denied a chance to minister the word.
The cleric who is still nursing his wounds after being attacked by passers-by who caught the two near a hill was humiliated by congregants who walked out in protest.
The Pulpit was then handed to a final year student Pastor at Living Waters Bible College. To his surprise, Ponda was left with more questions than answers after one of the church leaders , Bishop Panganai Makarichi visited the assembly and introduced his replacement.
An H-metro reporter who attended the service confirmed on what Bishop Makarichi said:
“I have brought a final year student from Living Waters Bible College to share a message with you, God loves us and we all came to worship him so remain in prayerful as well as pastor and his wife they all want the word” said Bishop Makarichi before asking the congregation to excuse him.

Ponda is yet to confirm on the way forward with his wife before giving out his side of the story.
