A TNN/TeboPost first online opinion poll predicts that Presidents Paul Biya will win by 45% in the upcoming presidential Election Schedule for October 7th 2018 closely follows by Akere Muna, Joshua Oshi and Afanwi Franklin.
A Hundred Thousand and Twenty Four (100024) Persons both home and abroad voted on the TNN/TeboPost online opinion poll which was launched to know the mindset of voters prior to the start of campaigns in the Cameroon Presidential Election schedule for October 7th 2018.
The opinion poll was centered on; possibilities Opposition Coalition, sources of campaign messages, who they support, who they think will win the elections regales of who they support and their opinions about elections holding in the North West and South West Region of Cameroon.
This is Cameroon first online opinion poll which is aim at knowing the mindset of voters before they meet with the different candidates during campaigns and to see the most favorable candidate for this year presidential election with the greatest number of supporters
Five Key question were asked to voters to answer so as get views about this year presidential elections they are:
1. Which Candidate do you support for this year presidential Election?2. Do you think opposition candidate should form a coalition against CPDM?
3. Regardless of whom you support and try to be objective as possible, who do you think will win the elections in October?
4. Where would you get Campaigns information during this campaign season?
5. With the prevailing political situation in the country, do you think election will hold in the North West and South West Region?
On the question which candidate do you support for this year presidential election? The Social Democratic Front (SDF) flag bearer Joshua Oshi came first with 40%, Akere Muna of the NOW Movement came second with 37.9% closely follow by Afanwi Franklin with 8.9% while the incumbent was nowhere to be found among those who supports the different candidates.
Do you think opposition candidate should form a coalition against CPDM?
60% of the voters strongly agree that oppositions should form a coalition against CPDM, 18.20 agree that the candidates should form a coalition making it 78.20% agreeing that there should be a coalition among the opposition if they must win Biya.Regardless of whom you support and try to be objective as possible, who do you think will win the elections in October?
45% Predict that Paul Biya of the CPDM party will win the election, follow by Akere Muna with 23%, Joshua Oshi third with14%, Afanwi Frank and Kamto with 9% each while the rest of the other percentages falls on others as shown belowWhere would you get Campaigns information during this campaign season?

Conclusively, the poll shows Joshua, Akere, Afanwi, have the greatest number of supports and yet majority of the respondents Predicts that President Paul Biya will win because not all of those who support Joshua, Akere, Afanwi, may come out to vote on that day
There is a difference between supporting a candidate and voting for that candidate and some pointed out that they just think Biya will win despite the fact that they do not support him but believes the elections will be rigged and Biya will win.
The opposition Candidates now have a great task to convince their supporters to come out massively to vote and to wipe away the rigging mentality if they need to win while the CPDM party has to do more to convince their supports to come out to vote if they want to win.
N/B this is the first opinion poll and was done before Election Campaigns and is just a projection on peoples opinion.
Another opinion poll will be conducted one week to elections after the candidates would have gone round campaigning
