Daniel Shumba the president of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and one of the presidential candidates on 30 July 2018.

Shumba is also a lawyer, he is one of the 25 respondents cited and he says he is in possession of some evidence of rigging other than already raised by the MDC Alliance.

"Let's not be selfish, let's support MDC Alliance court challenge for the sake of democracy, it's not about Chamisa but the truth and democracy . Nelson Chamisa won those elections. My own votes were deflated too but were not enough to win the presidency," he said.
