Dancehall star Soul Jah Love- real name Soul Musaka – has laughed at claims doing rounds on social media that he has been amputated. The chanter said he is in the right state of health and that nothing has hindered his singing career.
“I’m perfect and I have been doing shows with both my legs. I do not know where people get it from, maybe I have a third leg that was amputated,” he said.
The reports saw Prophet Walter Magaya’s name being thrown into question after he prayed for and pronounced Soul Jah Love’s healing. The chanter said “God bless the prophet” and urged people to desist from judging. Reports circulated that the prayer session was an attention seeking gimmick that the chanter was bribed by the prophet to fake healing.
“I usually maintain my silence and even when some people call me I do not say anything but let me set the record straight. I used to diss him but I know what happened to me. I went there and he prayed for me, ndikasimuka. People should not judge. The bible says thou shall not judge and it is true. Peopled have read things about him and they judge but the power of God through his intercession healed me.
“People think it is the prophet who heals people but it is God through him. Vamwe vanofunga anekajuju kakarapa Soul Jah Love but it is God. I know people say what they want about him but just know that God is there, musasaize Mwari. Some said I was paid and I do not know where they got that from. He said contrary to popular belief that he was a drugs person, he was in fact a prayer warrior.
“Vamwe vanoti ndiri wembanje but ndiri munhu waMwari manje. I’m not perfect but I walk in the way of the Lord. I know faith is needed for any healing process and that’s what happened to me,” he said. Chibaba, as the chanter is fondly known, said he is pained at times with reports that come out in the media.
“Ndiri munnu, ndinorwdziwa. I went to church and I was prayed for, ndikasimuka. I went to UK and the wound was there. I visited doctors there to ensure that it heals as fast as possible but the way it came out leaves me wondering.
