“Churches are the ones that are holding off attacks directed at this nation and if you touch these churches, they will let go of these forces and they will destroy the nation.”

UFIC leader, Emmanuel Makandiwa sent this warning to government after many prophecies he made about the state of the country while addressing congregants on Sunday.

Government had proposed to impose taxes on churches, while senior government officials, including ministers, have warned men of the cloth against dabbling in politics, as the country teeters on the brink of implosion amid a rising protest wave.

Makandiwa had earlier said the President was in trouble. Saying also that there shall come a time when these same men shall go door-to-door beating up people to join the demonstrations. They want to foment chaos, referring to the ministers.

“We have a sad situation where there is no money and when you get the little money, the government is making sure there is nothing to buy. This is deliberate. It’s being planned by men close to the President. They are the ones planning the demonstrations.” he said

Ufic spokesperson, Prime Kufa, has warned people of wrongly interpreting Makandiwa’s message calling it too complex to the extend that only the man of God could interpret it.
