Opposite to fashionable belief, the Jiva Sexy hitmaker, real name Thulisile Madihlaba, said she has certainly not had a child but was longing to have a big family she would pamper and spoil to bits.

"Everything has its time. I have had a successful career and the next big thing is to start a family and have as many kids as I can."

Madihlaba (32) is busy shooting the new reality dance competition show Turn Up and Dance, starting on e.tv on Tuesday and with Dr Malinga as co-host.

"I would like to start enjoying motherhood, be like any normal person. I have worked hard for years. It would be nice to go on picnics on Sundays, take them along on holiday and the like."

She said this year had been her busiest, as a judge of SABC1's Stumbo Mapantsula Jumbo dance-off competition, on e.tv's Reality Check where she gets down and dirty in aid of charity and, for the first time, she presents Turn Up and Dance.

"I've judged TV dance competitions before but have not presented any. I'm satisfied with how my television work has taken off. It's beyond my expectations," she said.

Speaking about her relationship with her manager, King of Kwaito Arthur Mafokate, Madihlaba said: "It's unfortunate that my working relationship with Arthur has been misinterpreted.

"I cannot dictate to him who to work with, including Kelly, whom I respect as a friend and musician.

"My working relationship with both Arthur and Kelly is stronger than ever. Actually a collaboration between me and Kelly is half way through completion. We will be singing together and it's a huge project, we are allowing music to speak for us. It's actually a follow up from what I've been doing with Ishmael and what Arthur has been doing with Kelly."

Madihlaba said she was working with Ishmael recording a music video of one of Arthur's songs We Bhuti, scheduled for release in time for the festive season.

"We've also seen unprecedented success with the song Hlokoloza I recorded with Arthur."

On her appearance as the owner of Chichi's lounge on SABC2's Muvhango, Madihlaba said her fans must not despair as she would be making a dramatic comeback soon.

"Yes, it's a matter of time, but I will be back and would be causing more ructions than ever on the soapie. It's good to be in demand but equally important to focus, give undivided attention to one project at a time."

Dubbed the Queen of Dance, she started jiving at the age of five and has since released 18 albums, including collaborations, the first being First Time in 2005 under Mafokate's 999 Music.
