Chikohomere is also facing an assault charge for biting the right hand of a person who was trying to intervene in the matter.

Prosecutor Shepherd Chavarika told the court that on April 27 this year, Chikohomere and Mukokeri were playing snooker at Sparks Bar at Magada Business Centre in Hobhouse.

The two are reported to have had misunderstanding over snooker tokens.

Chikohomere allegedly pushed Mukokeri before he drew a knife and stabbed him in the chest.

Another patron moved in to rescue Mukoreri but was bitten on the right hand by the army officer.

Mukokeri was rushed to hospital.
