Moyo then entered Makunani’s vehicle and notified the driver of his arrest.
Makunani, an accomplice who is still at large and the kombi driver, who also faces the same charges, then locked Moyo inside the vehicle and drove away.
It is further alleged that during the way, they trio were threatening the 55 year old. They tried to throw him out of the vehicle but they failed as he resisted them.
The driver continued to Chinhoyi Street where they finally threw Moyo out of the moving vehicle.
Despite sustaining hand and back injuries, Moyo managed to take the registration number of the vehicle which assisted him in identifying and arresting Makunani on 17 March.
