Zimbabwe Cricket on the role of making records. Whole Zimbabwean team looked in joy after winning the second consecutive ODi against Afghanistan, Sikandar was the man of the moment, he scored 141 on only 133 balls, with seven sixes and eleven fours. He hand was held by experienced Masakadza who scored 93 with 113 balls, he fell seven run short of his century, but he played an important role for his country. He along with Sikandar created history breaking the 202 run record which was created against India by Stuart Carlisle and Sean Ervine in 2004.

Both were unable to finish the match as they were separated by Sharafuddin Ashraf when they needed only 33 runs to win, after that Sikander was also caught by Samiullah Shenwari on the delivery of Dawlat Zadran. But these late wickets were not enough to win Afghanistan a game as Zimbabwe completed the target before six overs.

Afghanistan looked favorite as their 17 year old Ghani scored a milestone on only 148 balls to set a tough 257 run target for Zimababwe, but the home side was brilliant throughout the series.
