A CAR romp between a prophet and a married small house ended in tragedy as the car they were using was hijacked during the act. Clemence Jambaya of the Johanne Masowe Apostolic sect and his girlfriend Sithabile Phedika had decided to have sex in spontaneous fashion when robbers pounced on them.
Tha carjacking took place at a football field separating Nketa 8 and Emganwini suburbs in Bulawayo. The car, a Honda Torneo donated to the Prophet by the church is yet to be recovered.
Still in shock, Sithabile, a hairdresser who operates from a salon in Nketa 9 narrated the ordeal.
“He (Prophet) is a regular client at the salon where I work (Just Like Free). On that night we went for a drive. Then we parked for sometime and suddenly robbers pounced on us,” she said.
Although being economic with the truth she begged not to be written.
“I have three kids and a husband. This will affect my marriage. Please don’t publish,” she added.
However, the prophet claims he was alone when he was robbed. He also said he did not know the woman in question.
“I don’t know her. I was alone when it happened. I was hijacked, that’s about it,” he said also emphasizing that when they pounced he was taking a rest.
A report was filed at the Nkulumane Police Station.
A source privy to the story told B-Metro that the two were long-standing lovers.
“On that fateful day Clemence was seen picking up NaFaith (Sithabile) from a salon at Nketa 9 shops. The following day word spread in the suburb that they had been robbed of his car after they were caught having sex with NaFaith near a soccer field between Nketa 8 and Emganwini suburbs,’’ said the source.
