A British Airways flight met a crash with building at Johannesburg Airport, South Africa. The plane was carrying nearly 180 passengers, when its wing sliced through a brick building, British Airways confirmed as well as the report has also confirmed by airport authorities. The plane is believed to be a Boeing 747.

The responsible airline tweeted on twitter.
“One of our aircraft was damaged whilst taxiing at JNB airport. All 182 passengers disembarked safely with no injuries onboard.”

There is not yet confirmed figure that how many injuries were there or whether anyone injured in the building.

Harriet Tolputt, Oxfam’s head of Media, posted some pictures of the crash on twitter.

“BA plane crashes into building at J Burg airport. No one injured only the pilot’s pride.” She wrote, “Not impressed that first class passengers get off before premium economy during an emergency.”

Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) is currently investigating about the crash. Johannesburg Airport said that it will provide further information after some investigation.
