A Harare woman has fled her matrimonial home amid claims that her husband was in the habit of using candles as the ‘joystick’ during sex.
Pamela Nyapondera was not amused as she dragged her husband Nicodemus Nyakudya- to the Harare civil court seeking a protection order against him.
“I moved out of the house because I was being sexually abused by him; instead of having normal sex with me at home he would always insert candles into my organ and sometimes he would use his finger on me as well.
“If I try to refuse he would beat me up calling me a prostitute so I then ended up vacating the house,” said Pamela.
She went on to tell the court that she wanted custody of their minor child.
Responding to the claims Nicodemus denied the accusations saying Pamela left their matrimonial home because she was having an adulterous affair with another man.
“She is lying the reason why she left the house is because I found out that she was having an adulterous affair with another man.
“I got to know it through a love text I found in her phone.
“I am also not willing to give her custody of the child because she is renting a one room apartment and at 3am going to work,” said Nicodemus.
Magistrate Gamuchirai Siwardi granted the protection order which orders Nicodemus not to sexually abuse Pamela and to keep his peace towards her. H Metro
