The Founder and Leader of Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries, Prophet Walter Magaya is ‘heartbroken’ by the woes bedeviling Sharon Macheso’s marriage so early into the day.
The two lovebirds who are said to have dated for nine years are currently estranged following a nasty fallout within two months of staying together. Sharon who has revealed to be pregnant for Munetsi says her hubby is very violent especially after taking mbanje and bronco hence she now fears for her health and that of her unborn baby.
Prophet Magaya blessed the wedding at Pakare Paye after making a brief appearance which however sparked debate over his casual dressing. Now the joke, which some are taking seriously, is that Prophet Magaya had ‘foreseen’ disaster and decided to send a message through his shabby outfit that courted the ire of those who had attended the wedding.
In an interview, Prophet Magaya however denied that his’unusual’ dressing jinxed the poor couple. The immensely popular prophet said he was eager to meet Sharon’s parents given that her mother was a regular at PHD services until just after the wedding. He believes the marriage can be salvaged.
“I hear that people say I foresaw trouble in the marriage and I understand it as a joke. I have already explained the reason behind my attire is that I was doing something else that needed such dressing but I had to pass through following a passionate plea. I rarely attend weddings because it diverts attention from owners of the event and even chaos. I must say I am disappointed by what is happening. I have been trying to get in touch with Sharon’s mother.
“The marriage should not be allowed to end after just two months. What people, who are close to the two, should be doing right now is to find the real problem. That is the only way the marriage problem can be solved. Yes when a husband assaults his wife, it is very wrong and unacceptable but there is need to actually look at the real problem. So I suggest the two spend time apart while getting real counselling not emotional advice. To me this marriage is workable,” he said.
Prophet Magaya who is currently being accused of having a hand in the mysterious death of a senior usher he stands accused of dating however believes Sharon and Kuda allowed fame to dominate their life without identifying key aspects of their relationship.
“When you are famous, in this case because of Alick Macheso, there is a danger that you fail to look into the relationship properly while preoccupied by the celebrity status. Now there is need to focus on the relationship. If they were in love for all those years as they claim, why would they be contemplating divorce after just two months, it’s disappointing,” said Prophet Magaya who reportedly gave the couple a whooping US$2,000 cash present on their wedding.
