A man from Bulawayo's Makokoba suburb has allegedly impregnated 10 teenagers in Mzilikazi and Makokoba, but denies responsibility.
Some of the girls, who claimed to have been once in love with him said he dumped them after they got pregnant.
However, the alleged super dad, Gift Siluma told this publication that he was happily married and did not know the girls who claimed he made them pregnant.
Nonetheless, a woman who only identified herself as Dudu and resides at Kusile Flats in Makokoba disclosed that a number of teenage girls have come to report their pregnancies to the man but to no avail.
"I have seen many heavily pregnant girls coming here for some time to report their pregnancies. Sadly they go back ashamed after he denies responsibility and mistreats them after which they leave," said Dudu.
We tracked down some of the alleged victims, who said they suspected he made a number of them pregnant within a period of two years.
They said the man lured them with money. One of the teenagers, Jeena Sibanda (19), who lives in Mzilikazi, said she fell in love with the man in March 2013.
"I dated him for about one year, only for him to dump me after I fell pregnant. I didn't know about his affairs with other girls until in March this year when I went to stay with him after I fell pregnant," said Jeena.
She said upon arriving at his house in Makokoba, she met four other pregnant girls claiming he had promised to marry them.
"He initially said he would take care of me and my baby but after I went to his house, I saw four other pregnant girls. And while I was there, five other teens came with their babies saying Gift was responsible for their pregnancies," claimed Jeena.
Jeena said she applied for maintenance for the upkeep of the child and Siluma confirmed that he had received court papers to that effect.
Another teenage girl who only identified herself as Cynthia said he promised to marry her.
"We used to indulge without protection because he had promised to marry me. However, things turned nasty when I got pregnant and he dumped me," Cynthia fumed.
Lydia Dube, who also said was a victim, said her parents were handling her case.
"My parents forced me to stay with him when I got pregnant but he abused me. He instructed me to sleep on the floor and verbally abused me. After that my parents decided to take me back and they are taking care of the needs of the baby," said Dube.
The news crew tracked down Siluma, and he vehemently denied claims by the teenagers.
"Those girls are lying. They go around tarnishing my reputation which is not good. I am married and I have a child."
He, however, confirmed that he got court papers for maintenance.
"Yes I received the court papers ordering me to pay money for my children's upkeep and I do not think I would do that because they have tarnished my image," he said.
