The opposition MDC is moving to block attempts by ex-secretary general Tendai Biti to haul its leader Morgan Tsvangirai before a disciplinary hearing by filing an interdict with the High Court today.

Biti's renewal team wants to drag Tsvangirai before its disciplinary committee following his reported controversial suspension from the MDC in April.

Tsvangirai has since dismissed the meeting that suspended him as illegal, unconstitutional, illegimate and bogus.

Douglas Mwonzora said that the party had resolved at its Standing committee meeting held at Harvest House yesterday to file court papers to interdict Biti and company.
