THOUSANDS of people from around the country and abroad thronged the 60,000-seater National Sports Stadium in Harare for United Family International Church (UFIC) leader Emmanuel Makandiwa’s Judgement Night 2 on Saturday night.

Although the heavily promoted event was billed to start at 8pm, crowds started arriving as early as 9am with the giant stadium filled to the rafters by 4pm.
Commuter omnibuses enjoyed a fruitful day ferrying congregants to the stadium all day while President Robert Mugabe’s dairy company Alpha and Omega also took advantage of the gathering to sell its products with several trucks from the firm evident outside the stadium.
